Showrunner &
Head Producer

As Showrunner and Head Producer for Flagrant, I operated across every major dimension of the show — creative strategy, production, guest booking, social media, YouTube, audio infrastructure, Patreon, ad delivery, analytics, live studio execution, and internal systems.

My role was about keeping a fast-moving, high-profile media company aligned and growing while the show continued reaching millions of viewers and listeners every week. When Andrew Schulz stepped away for Street Fighter production from August–October 2025, I kept the entire operation running at full speed.

YouTube Management
& Channel Growth

I managed the Flagrant YouTube channel during a period of significant growth — from 1.6 million to over 2 million subscribers — by driving creative and strategic input on titles, thumbnails, episode packaging, and publishing strategy.

Every packaging decision was backed by performance data: I analysed click-through rates, retention curves, and algorithm signals to maximise reach and cultural relevance with every upload.

YouTube isn't just a platform — it's a publishing business. I treated every upload like a product launch.

Clips Channel
& Short-Form Strategy

I inherited a clips channel sitting at ~850K subscribers with no clear content strategy. I redesigned the entire approach from the ground up — restructuring the publishing cadence, redefining clip categories, and standardising how we packaged and presented content across three distinct formats:

  • Short-form (under 3 min) — punchy, high-virality moments optimised for discovery and shares
  • Mid-form (8–10 min) — extended takes and segment highlights driving deeper retention
  • Long-form (10–30 min) — full conversations and topic deep-dives for core fans

I also overhauled thumbnail strategy — moving away from generic stills to deliberate, high-contrast designs that consistently signal value and drive clicks. The results were immediate and measurable.

After the strategy shift, the clips channel saw a 50% increase in viewership — and grew from 850K to over 1 million subscribers.

Audio Infrastructure
& Spotify

I built and ran the complete audio infrastructure for Flagrant — migrating the show onto Megaphone, managing the monetised feed, and ensuring the audio side of the business ran cleanly at scale.

I spearheaded getting Flagrant onto Spotify with video, a move that contributed directly to audio numbers doubling between March and July 2025.

Talent Coordination

I led guest strategy, outreach, and on-site coordination for high-profile interviews spanning politics, culture, entertainment, sports, business, and comedy. For the Donald Trump interview, I coordinated directly around Secret Service logistics — a level of operational complexity few producers at any level ever encounter.

Social Media
Management

I ran every major Flagrant social platform — day-to-day content, strategy, community, and growth. This wasn't a side task. I treated each platform like its own publishing operation with distinct audiences, formats, and growth levers.

On Instagram, I identified what content drove follows vs. saves vs. shares, restructured our clip and image cadence, and leaned into culturally relevant moments. The result: 335K → 560K followers in under a year — a 67% jump.

On X (Twitter), I inherited a page that had been essentially dormant. I built a content rhythm from scratch, engaged directly with fans and trending conversations, and grew a neglected 16K account to 32K — doubling the audience.

On TikTok, I extended the short-form clip strategy from YouTube and tailored it to the platform's algorithm and culture, growing the page from 145K to 173K followers.

Three platforms. Three distinct strategies. All growing — simultaneously.
